Nothing you have done is lost — a password is the only thing that changes. There are two ways in.
If you know the one everybody was given when this was set up, type your own sign-in name and use that instead of your password. It gets you in, and it is written into the log as the shop password rather than as you.
Whoever looks after this app can set you a new one from Admin → People → your row → Set a new password. It takes about ten seconds, and it is shown in plain text so they can read it out to you.
This puts a note against your row on the Admin screen. It does not send anything to a customer and it does not leave this building.
